Most trucks and RVs need the fuel tank lowered so we can add a small pickup tube, called a standpipe, that feeds the heater. That takes extra time, and changing a customer's fuel tank adds risk for us. The $500 covers both.

Your installed price already includes the kit. If you would rather buy the kit on its own, you can pre-order it here. Pick the one that matches your vehicle's fuel. Both kits come with the SmarTemp 3.0 controller, a digital controller that lets you set the temperature.

Yes, when installed correctly. We route the exhaust outside and keep the heater's air intake separate from your living space, so it is safe to run while you sleep.
