Most trucks and RVs need the fuel tank lowered so we can add a small pickup tube, called a standpipe, that feeds the heater. That takes extra time, and changing a customer's fuel tank adds risk for us. The $500 covers both.
We confirm your price before we start. If your vehicle needs unusual extra work, we tell you first.

Both. We install Velit heaters in diesel and gasoline. We pick the one that matches your vehicle's fuel.
Is it safe to run overnight?
Yes, when installed correctly. We route the exhaust outside and keep the heater's air intake separate from your living space, so it is safe to run while you sleep.
How loud is it?
Quiet inside. Outside, you will hear a faint tick from the fuel pump and a soft whoosh from the exhaust.
